This online business started for one simple reason: I just couldn’t stop rearranging my furniture! I adore interior design and love to simply move my “stuff” around, seeing all the different ways I could fill my space. Eventually it occurred to me that I could do the same with my walls, too – although I loved the look of hand-painted wall art, it would need to be something I could move and adjust at whim. Thin, mess-free vinyl “decals” turned out to be the perfect answer; I could apply them to bring a little more vibrancy to a room, and switch them out whenever my tastes changed. An idea became a hobby, became a successful business – and here we are at Inspire Your Walls, selling my decal designs so that others can extend their options for decorating their spaces. My family is as vital to me as the home we make our own, and even as I adapt my rooms to them, they inspire my business and its products. I grew up watching my mother work joyfully at her crafting hobbies, which instilled the love of design and shape that helps me have an “eye” for details. My little ones are also creative people – I encourage them to make art, and they in turn encourage me to try fresh looks when I’m designing a new decal. As they grow up, they’ll be able to turn the walls of their own rooms into works-in-progress that suit their changing personalities and interests.
