FAQ's & Policies

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping is a flat $6 in the U.S. no matter how many you order! If you order $100 or more worth of lettering your shipping is FREE. This will automatically come off at check-out.
We do ship to Canada and the cost is $6 for the first item, and $2 for each additional item.
Q: What payments do you accept?
A: We currently only accept PayPal as your method of payment. You can pay through PayPal with a credit card, instant transfer, or bank e-check. If you do not have PayPal you can sign up here, it's free to join and the safest way to pay online.
Q: How secure is payment made on your website?
A: All of your information is kept strictly confidential. It is encrypted and maintained on a secure server, and is never sold or revealed to any entity. Order payments are processed securely through paypal.
Q: Is your vinyl Glossy or Matte and how long will it last?
A: We only use Matte vinyl for our designs. This gives the words a painted on look and does not have a glare as the glossy does. We use a 6-year high quality vinyl that will last a long time. Indoors it will pretty much last forever, until you decide you want to move or change your decor! We do use Glossy Outdoor vinyl for all vehicle decals.
Q: How do I remove my lettering?
A: When you are ready to remove your decorative lettering, simply start peeling from the corner of a letter and slowly pull downward. If your lettering has been on your walls for a long time simply heat it up with a blow dryer and peel it off.
Q: I just painted my walls, how long until I can apply lettering?
A: Let newly painted walls cure for at least two weeks before applying decorative lettering. You want to insure that it is completely dry and the vinyl will stick.
Q: Can I install lettering on oil based paint?
A: Oil based paint is not a good surface for decorative lettering, but with some persistence you can get it to adhere. Simply follow our how-to-apply instructions and when you are peeling off the final layer, help your lettering on to the wall one letter at a time.
Q: How do I apply an overlay?
A: It is simple. Just follow the instructions again for the second layer. Be careful when placing it over the first saying as it sticks more quickly to its self, so make sure you get it right where you want it, or have someone help you position it in the right place.
Q: I want to have a quote made that is not on your site, how do I do this?
A: Simply find the size that you want in our personalized category. If you cannot find your size, simply email us by clicking the contact us button or at sales.inspireyourwalls@gmail.com and we will be happy to help you out.
Q: Is the lettering re-useable?
A: Decorative lettering is one-time use only. Once you peel it off, you are not able to use again. We make it affordable if you do move or change your mind and want to order more.
Q: What kind of material is the lettering made of?
A: Our lettering is made of a thin vinyl material. It is roughly 3mm thick, and gives the appearance of a hand-painted on look.
Q: How do I determine the height of my lettering?
A: We determine the height of the lettering from the top of the tallest letter (capital B) to the bottom of the lowest letter (lower case j). Just remember that not all fonts are the same in size and propotions.
Q: Can I see my custom saying before you cut it?
A: Yes! We send you a proof via e-mail for your approval before we cut your saying (custom orders only) if requested by email right after purchase. We also continue to make the changes necessary until you are completely satisfied with your look. (with have instated a proof policy of 3 proofs per order...if you go over this there is a fee involved)
Q: Can I use a font not on your list?
A: Please email us with your font choice and we will do our best to find it for you. We only list a handful of fonts for your choosing to eliminate confusion, but are happy to use other fonts if you ask.
Q: Can I pick up my order?
A: Yes, if you live in our area you are more than welcome to pick-up your order in person.
POLICIES:
General Information:
Once you have purchased your lettering, we will send you an email requesting any additional information if needed on our end. A proof of your lettering will then be sent to you via email with 24-48 hours, if you requested one with your order. Once you approve your proof we will cut it, and ship it out. Usually your lettering is shipped within 3-4 business days after final approval. Rush orders can be accommodated at an additional fee. Roughly you will receive your lettering within 7-10 days after placing your order.

The best way to reach us is through email and we will always answer you within 24-48 hours.
Refunds & Returns:
Since we send you out a proof via email for every custom quote and with every change, we are unable to facilitate any sort of refund on an order that has a mistake on the printing. We expect that you will carefully check and review every proof that you receive for its accuracy of details. If for some reason you requested a correction that was not made and the mistake is our fault, we will definitely work with you to correct the problem. We want you to be completely happy with your order. Please contact us within 30 days of purchase if we made an error so we may correct it. If you fail to notify us within 30 days, we assume you are happy with your product and will not accept returns/fixes.
Because our products are custom made on an individual basis we will not accept any returns of merchandise.
Privacy Policy:
Any information given to Inspire Your Walls will never be redistributed or sold to anyone. We only use your information to contact you, and ship your items. On occasion we send
out emails, newsletters, and promotions. If you wish to be removed from these email lists please contact us and we will remove you immediately.
Other information to know:
Our website design, contents, artwork, and purchase gallery are copy written and may not be re-used in any way shape or form without written permission from inspireyourwalls. Feel free to link to us, but never use our items and make them your own.
